Unforgettable Island Hopping!
Negros Oriental tours
Negros Island is one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines, where you will find the unique geographical natural wonders, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, jungles with exotic trees, sanctuaries and other eco-tourism and heritage sites with Hispanic influence; swim with sea turtles, school of jacks, barracudas, whale sharks and more! Negros is one of the many reasons why you should visit the Philippines.
Dumaguete
Dumaguete City is the capital of Negros Oriental Province. The most important sights are:
•Belfry (Bell Tower, Campanario) had builded in 1760s and St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral -“Oldest Stone Church in Negros”. The church was originally built in 1754 to 1776,
•Rizal Boulevard, follows the shoreline of Dumaguete City, and is lined with the beautiful private houses - the so-called “sugar houses” - of local “hacenderos” with a lot of restaurants and café. In the Boulevard you can see the Monument of Seven Sisters. On October 29, 1904, Sisters of St. Paul landed in Dumaguete and established of St. Paul College. On the southeastern part of the Boulevard you can observe the Oldest American building on the Philippines and First American University in South-East Asia – the Silliman University, which was found in 1901.
Dumaguete is sometimes referred to as the City of Gentle People. This element of the city's character is probably one of the reasons why Dumaguete (and the rest of Negros Oriental) ranks among the country's top ten most visited tourist destinations and why Forbes Magazine cited it as one of the world's top retirement hubs. Dumaguete City has good ferry connections to neighboring islands including Cebu, Bohol and Siquijor.
Balanan lake
Balanan Lake is a native lake 10 km away from the National Highway to the mountain side. The nature lovers will enjoythe trekking around the lake, it takes about 2 hours for the complete lap (4 km) and you will reach pristine waterfalls in the end. The trek is a pathway on one side and a cemented way on the other side (it is sometimes slippery so watch out your steps). Go and have fun, this beautiful place has a lot to offer. Don't like trekking? You can rent a kayak and relax.
Local forest has a lot of huge century Banyan (phil. Balete) trees which looks like the famous tree from Avatar movie. Older banyan trees are characterized by aerial prop roots that mature into thick, woody trunks, which can become indistinguishable from the primary trunk with age. Old trees can spread laterally by using these prop roots to grow over a wide area. Mentions of the Banyan as a mystical tree can be found in Buddhist, Hindu and other mythology.
Everyone will enjoy taking a swim in the pools surrounded by tropical forest.
Twin lakes
The twin crater lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao offer some of the most scenic hiking in Visayas. These are lakes Balinsasayao and Danao, rich with Tilapia and Carp where we can go fishing and kayaking in the peaceful lake. Lake Danao though is 16.04 inches higher than Lake Balinsasayao, which is 300 fathoms deep. Bird watching activities is at 6:00 am every morning where you will see fauna endemic to the Lake feeding. Trekking along the lush huge trees, giant ferns and exotic plants
Casaroro fall
This natural tourist spot has won many hearts of travels despite the steep and rather challenging means of getting there. The refreshing waters of the Casaroro Falls strikes 30 m down to a basin that then flows strongly along a stream. Matched with huge boulders and forestry plants, the terrain sight of the majestic falls creates a picture-perfect place to visit.
Upon reaching the Casaroro Falls entrance, the real adventure begins! Reaching the Casaroro Falls will take some muscle on your legs to move and exercise with more than 350 steps going down the terrain paradise. After the stairs, another challenge will be faced as travelers battle through a trek full of huge boulders, mud and streaming water.
Sulfur vents
What makes this very unique is the constant steam that emanates from its surface, attracting tourists for some photographs with misty effects! The steam looks like some early-morning fog that covers a great portion of the Sulfur Mountain. But don’t be fooled! The steam smell is awful – like foul rotten eggs! This is due to the high sulfur levels in the said area. The steam is due to the extremely high temperature within a potentially active volcano, Mt. Talinis.
Pulangbato falls & Red rock. Hot springs
The name “Pulangbato” can be translated such as “Red rock”. Like many other waterfalls in Valencia, Pulangbato falls is blessed with calm and refreshing waters. This is mainly because of Valencia’s geography – 60% of its land composition being hilly and mountainous – that the climatic temperature is always moderate to cool. Pulangbato Falls has a wide cascade, swimming lagoon and pool. Enthusiasts are clambering up to a nearby rock that functions as a diving point and free falling into the water basin. The ambience is rather calming in an unsophisticated kind of way because of the impression of being far from civilization.
Red rock Hot Springs is a great way to relax in the famed “cold” temperature of Valencia. It takes its source of tolerably warm water, ranging from 37,5 to 39,5°C from a naturally occurring spring which spouts through an opening by the pool.
Oslob Whale Shark watching

Dolphin watching in Bais
Dolphin watching, the popular attractions of Bais, allows people to experience dolphins as they live out their life in the ocean, instead of seeing them trapped in a tank as they would in an aquarium. The best time to see those amazing creatures is in the morning hours just after sunrise. There are several dolphin watching tour operators to choose from in Bais. Most only operate between March and October, because during other months of the year weather conditions obscure the dolphins and are difficult to boat through.
Known as the “Maldives of the Philippines”, Manjuod White Sandbar is truly a white gem to visit. It is located geographically in the municipality of Manjuod along the Bais Bay in the Tañon Strait. There are a few cottages in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by fine white sands.
